He’s a veteran, right? Shouldn’t we respect a veterans service or do only combat veterans deserve respect?

Some people are very busy splitting hairs so they can excuse denigrating military members.

I knew a man that was an Army Air Corps mechanic that served in WWII. He never shot at anyone or was shot at. I always considered him to be a real vet, not a poser.

Puritanism was not Sharia.

It most certainly was. They KILLED people or banished them to the wilderness if they didn’t toe the line. They FORCED people to go to church and had enforcers making sure everyone stayed awake during the hours long services. They were a theocracy with laws based on their concept of christianity. No holidays…Christmas was banned. That’s very much sharia in a christian form.
