Happy Summer Solstice. If it is any consolation to the brutal heat, at least the sun angle and day length will be decreasing after today. :smile:

It is picking up. The main body of salmon should be arriving soon, so the bears will be piling in.

Look who just came ambling in today with two brand new cubs.

128 Grazer, the reigning Fat Bear Champion.

Next to the word bitch in the dictionary should be Grazer’s picture. She is 100% bitch. Quite a few bears at Katmai have bite marks matching Grazer’s dental pattern. And she is all the worse when she has new cubs.
