They aren’t libs. They are middle of the roaders and first time buyers who never felt the need to get a gun and so are unfamiliar with the laws.
“the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited” Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority in the Heller decision.
So libs aren’t buying guns?
Who knows? There’s no evidence of that happening in the OP.
AmusedObserver:we just bought a couple of handguns right before the shutdown
“We”?
My wife and I.
AmusedObserver:In the real world, we just bought a couple of handguns right before the shutdown.
And you walked right out of the store with em too didn’t you?
No, 10 day wait as usual. No problem.
Not exactly surprising with Cities and States flushing felons out of custody and back onto the streets.

Gun purchases are individual.

Are they not releasing non-violent felons?
Guns sales are up 300% over the same time last year.
Some of those buyers are liberals. In November they will be voting for people who want to seize their new guns. Strange times.

Sigh, yes legally you are correct. I was entitled to pick mine up an entire 3 minutes before she could get hers.
Still, we regard them as ours, and she’s entitled to shoot mine whenever and however much she would like (unless it’s at me, but I don’t plan to give her any cause for that!) and I hers.
California is a community property state, but I don’t know how that relates to gun ownership, nor do I plan to find out.

Meaning that the guns would not be included in a division of assets?
I don’t celebrate, but have a joyous Easter, sneaky.

Worthiness must be evaluated on an individual basis.

Maybe he hasn’t been following the news outside of certain outlets?
I thought it was pretty common knowledge at this point.

There would be no reason for conservatives to panic and run to a gun store. We’re already armed. Some of these people are liberals. No doubt about it.
Well, Cowboy Dan’s a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes to the reservation drinks and gets mean
He drove the desert, fired his rifle in the sky
And says, “God if I have to die you will have to die”

An insignificant percentage.
Middle of the roaders.
