Former Secretary of State John Kerry hinted at a potential second run for the White House this week; saying he was “thinking about” another bid for the Oval Office against President Trump in 2020.
The 2004 Democratic candidate was speaking at Harvard University Tuesday when he was pressed to comment on whether he may seek the party’s nomination in the coming months.
“I’m thinking about how the hell to get out from under that question fast,” Kerry responded. “I’m not taking anything off the table… I haven’t been running around to the most obvious states, laying any groundwork or doing anything.”
“Am I going to think about it? Yeah, I’m going to think about it,” he added.
