Senator Lindsey Graham stopped-by The Sean Hannity show this week to weigh-in on the Democrats’ latest push to legitimize their ongoing impeachment process; saying the current situation is “completely different than what happened to Clinton and Nixon.”

“At the end of the day, everything still is in the hands of the compromised leader of this witch hunt, which is Adam Schiff,” said Hannity.

“Yeah, you’re dead right,” fired-back Graham. “There’s never been an Intel Committee involved in impeachment for a reason. So, under this resolution, the Intel Committee is to lead the investigative committee.”

“It’s completely different than what happened to Clinton and Nixon. The goal of this thing is to try and legitimize an unfair process. This is a sham… Democrats who vote for this, you’re voting for a process that would destroy every President in the future,” he added.

Democratic members of the House of Representatives approved new legislation Thursday that formalizes their impeachment inquiry against President Trump; passing the resolution along party lines.

The final vote was 232-196. Two Democrats voted against the investigation.

“The Greatest Witch Hunt In American History!” posted Trump shortly after the vote.

“With today’s vote, Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats have done nothing more than enshrine unacceptable violations of due process into House rules,” said White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham.
