Senator Lindsey Graham threw more cold-water on the Democrats’ never-ending impeachment fantasy Thursday; telling lawmakers he wants “the American people to pick the next President,” not US Senators.
“I have said consistently, I’m not going to grant witness requests by the defense. They could have called all of these people if they wanted them in the House,” said Graham.
“I want to end this thing sooner rather than later. I don’t want to turn this into a circus. I want the American people to pick the next President, not me,” he added.
