Good news on COVID from the UK

Reports are that most of the people who are in UK hospitals with COVID only tested positive after admission. The implication is that the people were in the hospital for other reasons and COVID symptoms were not the primary reason the hospitalizations.

Meanwhile there are massive protests all over Europe against draconian restrictions and forced vaccinations. The mainstream media are largely ignoring the protests.

A notable exception to the protests is Sweden, where daily COVID deaths recently hit zero without the massive lockdowns and restrictions found in the rest of Europe.

Are attacks on civil liberties a far greater danger than COVID itself?

Get vaccinated.

Ask nice…be honest.

Goes double for me.

Yes, people who are most vulnerable to COVID should get vaccinated.

On the other hand, there is no reason for government coercion. The only people who are likely to suffer serious health effects are the unvaccinated, and they are free to make that choice.

In the case of children, I have seen no analysis showing that the risks of COVID outweigh the risks of the vaccination. Mandatory vaccinations in school to protect unvaccinated teachers is ridiculous.

Except that isn’t true. If more people with COVID-19 are hospitalised it may overwhelm the health system and others may be negatively impacted who require urgent medical attention for other medical issues.

Break a bone go to the hospital and contract the ‘Rona?
What’s the big deal?
Move along.

Admitted to a hospital for symptoms associated with Covid and SUPRISE!!! they test positive for Covid.

Please… use some sense.

Everyone who is able, regardless of vulnerability, should get vaccinated.

Man does ZeroHedge know how to play its marks when they grift.

87% of those hospitalized for COVID were diagnosed within two days of admission…leading to a high probability ALL these folks came in to the hospital because of COVID symptoms.

ZeroHedge of course focuses only on the number of people diagnosed before they came to the hospital to make sure their Narrative gets firmly embedded.

And so the marks believe something “nefarious” is going on when of course nothing of the kind is happening.

We should be calling this the Pandemic of the Extremely Gullible.

Pandumbic

We are being held hostage by the least educated, least successful members of the citizenry, and there’s nothing to be done.

“Pandumbic” indeed!

I wonder - is the way I look at the unvaccinated the same way that conservatives look at Illegals?

The country would be better if [insert group] weren’t in it.

Hmmm…

I suppose the main difference is that illegals come here looking for a better life (e.g., Honduras is a violent mess), whereas the unvaccinated are just knuckleheads.

The article says that a distinction in the data is not made between those who are brought in with Covid symptoms and determined to have these caused by Covid and those who are brought in with non Covid causes and determined to also have Covid. The data is meaningless.

Admitted to the hospital for a knee replacement and surprise you test positive for COVID without symptoms. That also explains why 40% of the UK COVID hospitalizations are already fully vaccinated.

The typical time between onset of symptoms and hospitalization is 3 to 10 days, which is more than enough time to get a test done.

 Nice.

It looks the CDC is going to recommend masks inside for the vaccinated.

If vaccinations are effective, then is requiring everyone to wear masks to protect the unvaccinated from each other?

If vaccinations aren’t effective and everyone still has to wear masks, why bother to get vaccinated at all especially if you are young and healthy?

Because Big Pharma and their lackeys in the government discovered early on that there’s no limit to what people will believe, and the sky’s the limit for shares of the vaccine producers’ stock.

So by linking to a study done in March 2020 - June 2020 in Belgium proves that July 2021 that the admissions in England are … something something.

Also… the claim isn’t that 40% are fully vaccinated it is that 60% are unvaccinated. You are assuming the “fully vaccinated” part.

Good for them! They tell them to get vaccinated then claim the vaccines are not trustworthy enough so they must stay in lockdown.
