Good moral character

Hogs. But that’s irrelevant. The 2nd has nothing to do with hunting.

The 2nd has nothing to do with hunting.

Which one of those listed other than the grenade launcher (which is not available to civilians that I am aware of) make the weapon more deadly, or impact the functionality of said rifle?

no but a knife attached to a rifle along with one other thing mentioned in the law are.

Allan

Are you “safer”?

safer in what way. i am glad i live in a low crime area.

you will have to be more specific so that i can answer your question.

Allan

Keep up with a simple conversation.

To turn it into a sharpened stick.

Last time someone got bayoneted in New Jersey was probably when Washington was fighting the Red Coats.

Still, people in Jersey can’t be trusted with sharpend sticks.

If the manufacturer wants to put unnecessary accoutrements on their products and consumers like it, it’s not any business of yours. And it’s absolutely no business of law makers.

They do. The point, however, is that gun manufacturers should be free to make guns look anyway they (and consumers) want them to look without interference from government to make them appear as the lawmakers want them to look. The so-called “assault weapon” laws are nothing more than a pathetic attempt to placate people like you who are intimidated by the sight of guns that look a certain way.

One wonders how you would feel if your state limited the cosmetic design of cars that could be sold in your state. They would probably end up looking like Hugos.

Grenade launchers are legitimately available to civilian. Explosive ordnance for them is not, but you can buy flair “ammunition.”

No Allan. The law does not refer to attaching a knife to the rifle, it merely mentions bayonet lugs.

Oh ok thanks, didn’t know that.

well except you cannot possess said weapons without a permit in some states. sales in jersey are pretty close to zero with those rifles.

Allan

why would be my question. do people now hunt with grenades.

Allan

No “well except for” about it. States that prohibit possession of any gun based on such nonsense are in violation of the Constitution. Any law that requires government approval in order to avail oneself of any Constitutionally protected Right (i.e., not just 2nd Amendment Rights) is blatantly unconstitutional.
