So where have I been?
Well, I was driving tractor trailer for a national salty snacks company, for about 8 years. Until one day they took me off my cake run to Queens, NY to deliver to the guys who actually deliver to the stores. So I was sent to Maine. In a blizzard.
Usually takes 5 hours to get to Portland. Took me 10. Stopped at a hotel, took my ten hours off and got up the next morning to check conditions and fire up the truck. Fell. On my head. Hard.
Long story short, I was on comp for THREE YEARS and had three operations. My shoulder, elbow and my LEFT EYE, because i knocked the tendons loose.
We used the time to fight through the VA Health Care system while we had the time, and they were like ‘You’re working?!?!? Oh, hell no!’ so now I’m a 100% disabled veteran.
I’m married (polyamorous) with two children at home, and 9 year old girl and a six year old boy.

Divorced and remarried. And polyamorous means we are able to seek relationships outside the marriage. Neither of us currently have one.
