Global warming is real

uuuh floodplains and wetlands are two different things.

For example, most of my city is in the floodplain of a mountain canyon. The local home depot has a man made wetland behind their building for runoff from their parking lot and building. Utah requires those on all new developments. You can see cat o nines growing in there and a lot of the “natural” wetlands plants and such.

That’s a great question! Who should we ask to answer that question? Climatologists or Rush Limbaugh?

There is disagreement amongst the experts. LIBs declare the debate to be over, but its not.

Where exactly is it that I said we’d had a net gain in wetlands?

We polar bears have switched from eating seals to eating ecotourists.

What study?

I’m not attacking anyone. The fact remains that none of them can demonstrate that CO2 is the problem or that if it even is to what degree.

Science has been reduced to nothing more than dogma when it comes to AGW.

It’s based on the known record as demonstrated.

Neither can any other chart of the previous cycles so you have nothing to compare it to.

Those “record years” were "record years by fractions of degrees below the margin of error.

My estimation has nothing to do with it, but yes, the average global temperature is warmer now than it was 30 (and more) years ago. Why do you ask?

Funny. It’s like you dont understand what velocity is. Here: take the velocity / slope and draw it. Where are we in 100 years? K thx bye

Well then I guess your chart is worthless since it doesnt show velocities in the centuries. Stick to your day job (if you have one)

You can’t calculate the velocity without accurate data none of which exists from the previous cycles as all we have are estimates over long periods of time.

I see you’re now moving the goalposts and squirming. The fact is the data shows rapid acceleration at a dangerous velocity in our temperatures over the last 75 years. I’m sorry that the facts arent politically convenient for you.

Dont dodge. Using the data we have now and the velocity, where are we in 100 years? K thx bye

We have actual data to work with from less than 2 centuries to work with, that’s it.

Since 1880 the best available numbers show we’ve had less than a 2c increase in global temps which is still well below the previous highs.

Why would I assume the velocity is going to remain constant when the only constant in our climate is change?

And here you are posting charts that go back 10,000s of years made by the same scientists who say global warming is man made lmao :joy:

The only movement of the goalposts here is your own.
