Yeah, it could very well be that they don’t care he’s making an ass out of himself. Hell, the president does that daily.
Just fyi, Rudi got booed when they wished him a happy birthday at Yankee Stadium today. 
It would have been so easy for him to ride of on the peak of the wave in the 90’s. America’s Mayor. Respectable career as an attorney in NY. But he decided to bin all that for the glitz and glamour of aggressively partisan politics.
America’s Mayor. Now he’s America’s Liar.
He deserved every breath of that Bronx Cheer.
