I can never figure out why immigrants vote democrat. You would think they would be the first to want to preserve our liberty.

Only immigrants who are citizens can vote and some will vote democrat and some will vote republican

Lol when people are voting they are not thinking of lofty ideals such as preserving liberty but thinking a) which person do I like most and b) which will help me more.

It cracks me up that so many on this forum still dont realize the majority of the electorate are not politically engaged on a daily basis and only real pay attention prior to election day. We are the outliers and exceptions by being political junkies.

So they don’t come for lofty ideas such as liberty! Perfect!

Nothing about the GOP screams liberty.

1st and 2nd A are hated by the dems… That screams tyranny!

The 1st is hated by the right just as much. Just not a different version. This new version of the left with its need to ban guns and to censor speach is not something i support.

The restrictions the gop put on the 4th and 5th for decades are just as tyrannical.

I don’t know if the federal government can be reformed. Federal law enforcement and intelligence has been thoroughly infiltrated by partisan operatives. I don’t think we could get rid of them all, or change the culture in these agencies. I do not believe the Congress is capable of oversite in this instance because partisans will partisan. It will take people of great integrity to clean out the swamp, I don’t know if we have many left.

I do think term limits would help including a single six year term for President. Putting limits on campaign spending or maybe have the federal government fund all federal political campaigns to remove outside influences.

Its a not a cure all but a start.

Its a not a cure all but a start.

These posts from our left-leaning colleagues offer me a smidgen of hope. As it was pointed out earlier, the vast majority of voters do NOT follow political issues to the degree that we do here. It’s too easy to broadbrush, and lord knows I’m guilty of it too at times.

Conclusion… The FBI had no reason to open the investigation into Trump. They did it because they are democrats. Just like the 51 intel people that lied about the laptop. Partisan dems have taken over the CIA and FBI.

Cut the budgets or end these agencies. I can’t even think of anything they have done well in my lifetime.

I cannot speak for you but me and my family are still able to pursue life, liberty and happiness.

The freedoms I had when I first moved to the US in the early noughties I still have today.

Whats interesting is that since 2003 on this forum posters have continually predicted the end of the US because of the left or the right and yet here we still are.

Its still very early in the election process and anything can happen to impact any candidate. Tactically speaking Durham should have delayed his report until next August. The vast majority of the electorate will not be influenced by pretty much anything unless it happens towards the summer months of next year.

No one is stopping you from living the life you want. No one is stopping you from living or working anywhere. You are free to choose who to vote for and free not to vote. You are free to worship as you please. You are free to choose the direction of your life. No one has had their freedoms restricted.

I don’t apologize for my beliefs. I m a lifelong conservative Republican. I cannot imagine ever voting for another democrat…ever. In my opinion the lunatics are running that asylum and are trying to take the country with it.

The southern border nightmare … what a stupid situation. I’m listening to a news story about migrants being housed on school gymnasiums in New York. While the kids are in school. How is this border disaster not an impeachable offense?

The corruption of the Biden’s is frightening. I seriously wonder who is sitting at the upper level of power in America…the people who paid for the Biden’s or the people blackmailing the Biden’s…or both. There is far more evidence that Joe Biden did all the things Donald Trump has been accused of in terms of foreign influence than there is evidence implicating trump…particularly after the Durham report yesterday.,

I would love to live in a country where we all have more in common than divides us. Where we all pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, where we truly are judged by the content of our character not by the color of our skin, where we are United. That’s tough to accomplish with a president who’s every reference to the opposition party starts with sone ludicrous expression of MAGA-ism and where he goes out making delusional speeches about white peoples being the biggest threat we face.

I do think we probably do have more that unites than divides…but the left’s most vocal mouthpieces continue to peddle division … you don’t want to be forced into an electric car your a climate change denier, you don’t want boys in your daughter’s locker room your a transphobe. When all else fails you’re probably a racist.
