Fox News show books anti-Trump guest, realizes mistake on live TV

So “Fox & Friends First” booked a woman they thought was Arizona congressional candidate Ann Kirkpatrick on live TV to discuss her pro-ICE views. Who they actually got was Massachusetts state senator and congressional candidate Barbara L’Italien, who began to speak on the air against Trump’s immigration policies. When the hosts on the show realized what had happened, they cut her feed. “That didn’t go as planned,” one of the hosts said.

I guess not.

at least it wasn’t Sacha Baron Cohen

That would have been, in the words of Arte Johnson, verrrrry interesting.

I’m a little surprised he or someone else hasn’t tried it. Who knows, maybe they have and Fox was more vigilant then.

Why did they cut her feed?

They are all about being fair and balanced.

Well, it sounds to me like Fox had no clue this would happen.

Of course they are. They tell us so. /sarcasm

Well it was Fox & Friends. She probably started speaking intelligently and it threw the whole crew off.

Yeah, I’m sure they’re not used to that especially since the president talks in low information mode to the country all the time.

If you look on YouTube, Fox, not surprisingly, has done several stories trashing Cohen’s new series.

And your point is???

Do you doubt for one second that MSNBC or CNN wouldn’t have done the same thing?

No, I don’t think they would have. They would have interviewed them.

Of course. I keep forgetting that LIBs are superior beings who can do nothing wrong.

Any examples of them doing anything like that?

nope!

We have nothing to discuss you and I.

CNN must be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for something to report. Same goes for the OP.

All you have are baseless accusations!

Google MSNBC or CNN interviews Trump supporter and see how many hits you get.

Damn…now that’s funny. How do you make a mistake like that? Someone may be out of a job?
