They had complaints about King George’s government. (And that of parliament.)

  • It was NOT that they wante more government.

  • It was NOT that they felt government was too small.

  • It was NOT that they thought government is the SOLUTION to problems.

  • They never once said, Hey we should grow government a little more and use it to solve this problem or that problem.

Nope, nope, nope, and nope.

They thought government was too big BACK THEN and they wanted King George and Parliament to turn back the clock and undo the things they had been doing for the past 10-20 years.

I am merely pointing out that the “classic liberals” = today’s conservatives = the founders/framers.

Liberals today are all about expanding government (just lije King George) and have it solve teal and imaginary problems (just like King George.)
