Foreigner? You pay more!

Maybe not the first place… but it’s obviously visited by non us citizens. Otherwise there would be no point to distinguish between citizen vs non citizen.

And?

People come here regularly and drop 10-15k for a week at Disney.

Funny how you were not so concerned with increased fuel costs for Americans as you are about National Park costs for foreigners.

Just another example of America last

And???

Now imagine if Disneyworld sold park tickets for $200 for us citizens and $600 for non us citizens.

Foreign visitation would definitely decline.

It’s like buying a frigging plane. Mrs tguns told me we’re taking the grandkids there for my granddaughters 16th BDay…I get the resort rooms for “free” and I still need to mortgage may vital organs.

I just don’t see the business sense in charging an American family of four $320 for passes, and an international family of four $1000.

A “No Foreigners Allowed” sign out front would be quicker and easier.

Just addressing your post. Did your post have a point?

…cuz the price was too low and raising it will then generate more revenue. The COVID years have distorted travel. It’s now in the rearview mirror and raising the rate is in my business opinion…the way to go.

LOL

Have you been to a Disney park lately?

I live an hour from Disneyland and own 4 annual passes.

So yes. What would you like to know?

Again, the Yellowstone and Disney World experiences are two distinctly different things. As it’s been pointed out, let’s see Disney raise prices on international visitors and see what happens.

True…overcrowded hordes of rude annoying people pushing each other around so they can get a glimpse of some guy in a mouse costume vs the natural wonders.

Sign me up for dropping a few grand on mouse boy and a hotdog.

Also, I’d like to preface this conversation by saying … no, this isn’t a huge deal. But it is another example of this administration making wildly dumb and near sighted decisions which are seemingly based on the distain of a group of people.

This is the way it works for hunting and fishing licenses.

If it’s truly a “rising costs” issue…

So then why not raise the price for all visitors to $260?

Why just non us citizens?

Las Vegas does this. Locals get cheaper or free parking while tourists pay more

Are you talking national park, or Disney?

I was going to say that this should be a short thread if MAGA just owned up to this move being another in a long list of move to lower the amount of non citizens in the US.

But it seems like they don’t agree with it? Or don’t want to own up to it?

Unless it slows visitation. Then it well could lower revenue.

Yes, Vegas locals regardless of race, nationality or citizenship.

But they do this to encourage more local visitors.
