Nothing worse than legal investors wanting to spend money in the US.
It is like Trump and company are trying to harm the US.
As long as pot is a federally a schedule one drug, its the right thing to do. Of course it should be legalized, but until it is, it’s no different then heroin, legally speaking, federally.
Blame voters and congress.
Also anyone working at a legal pot farm in Canada are getting life time bans.
I guess Americans hate freedom.

Investing in Canadian pot companies … no problem, that’s for the Canadians to sort out. An internal affair.
Not, domestically in the US (and I’ll ignore for purposes of discussion that the federal doesn’t actually have a delegated power to regulate agriculture within the States): how is “investing” in what is technically a criminal enterprise in the US different from investing in a criminal enterprise in the US? Because pot is socially acceptable to many?
Would it be a stretch to say the old Mafia would have had their own stock and bonds on exchanges / markets, with lots of foreign investors no doubt, had it been lawful to invest in their criminal business?
Certain states have legalized pot.
And under the 10th, if it were really honored, that would be fine. But Arbitrary government stands in the way.

BTW, true story, biodiesel from hemp (which is supposedly physically green, funny enough), would be one of innumerable products from that most useful of plants (in addition to more common things like paper or textiles) that could be had if in (that specific case) hemp oil for health wasn’t such an overpriced fad.
We must not forget that legalization crowd is actually focused on the least useful use of the family of plants.
There weren’t even enough pot heads with the munchies to save Hostess without heroic effort from other fans of the company.
