Should CBS fire Tony Romo, not just for his atrocious Super Bowl performance, but for his lack of performance generally?

I actually like Romo. But me personally, I wish they had an option to mute the play by play guy and color commentator. I don’t need to hear them. I don’t know why people make such a big deal about this.

When I was a kid, one of the networks aired a game with no announcers and it was great.

I did notice there was a lot of anti-Romo backlash after the Superbowl, which is why I posted this thread.

I will concur with the sentiment expressed by some online that Romo has actually gone downhill lately.

Not the worst color commentator ever, but at the very least, he should not work the Superbowl (or League Championship games) again.

It’s what media, who require conflict for clicks, choose to feed you.

Most people wouldn’t know there was an issue if the media didn’t decide to distill particular social media posts to highlight.
