Final Delta launch currently set for 3/29 (early afternoon)

This is as third party feed, currently live.

Official ULA feed, expected to go live at 2:15 pm EDT.

This is the final launch, both of the Delta IV Heavy and the Thor/Delta Missile/Rocket family as a whole. The first Thor missile launch attempt was January 26, 1957 with the first successful launch on September 20, 1957. The first Delta rocket launch attempt was May 13, 1960 with the first successful launch on August 12, 1960.

About to start the 4 minute final countdown at 2:41, with launch at 2:45.

Right now, weather is in range.

Got 2 seconds into the count before hold, hold, hold. Appears to have been a misconfigured switch.

They still may be able to launch today.

Sounds like they’re scrubbing today’s mission.

Yes, they just announced a 24 hour turnaround.

Somebody ■■■■■■ up. This is a human error related scrub, somebody left a switch misconfigured.

BTW, after this launch finally goes, CCSFS SLC-37B will be torn down and the complex will be rebuilt by SpaceX to support Starship launches.
