The fed had 2 mandates. Low unemployment and stable inflation
Inflation has been creeping up hence the rate hikes to prevent it getting out of hand
By slowing the economy down. Now the question is: Did the Fed to too much too fast?

low interest rates and quantitative easing by the FED.
Then Trump was elected and the economy took off to the point the FED had to slow it down.
It took off to not even as good of growth as 2015 under Obama.

I think a little perspective is helpful:
If these interest rate hikes are “too much” the economy is far from being as strong as we are asked to believe.

And on the other side, Trump inherited near full employment, public spending has increased and massive tax cuts were passed. Are you saying a rate increase of 1.25 offsets that?
Not to mention Obama had the sequester that was a drag on GDP.
The story isn’t how much trump lies or brags or doesn’t fix health care or doesn’t meet expectations or explodes the deficit.
The story is what he continues to say to keep the total dedication from grown men when everybody knows what a liar and adulterer and cheater (doesn’t pay his bills, cons customers).
This entire era is about Trump voters and what they’ve decided is and is not important. That includes tons of christians of course.
Well, yea, when you inject huge deficit spending and double the deficit to $1trillion via unnecessary corporate tax cuts the economy will ramp up some. Just like the stimulus.
