Fauci Tells Congress He and Trump Worked Together and Agree on COVID-19

Looks like Trump may have caved on this one.

In spite of the media, there is still disagreement on the effectiveness of these cloth masks. For that reason, the Netherlands does not encourage the wearing of masks…and part of the reason is as mentioned in one of the articles…people tend to fidget with the masks, potentially bringing viruses to their face.

In any case, glad I could help you with the information that it took a long time for Trump to cave on that one.

No he didn’t. When asked about the chart of USA vs. Europe outbreaks he said that they did a much better job at shutting down their economy and how they re-started. He said that in many states we did a bad job at opening and now we are paying the price. Trump blames governors while he was the one telling them to open up.
The voters are not stupid. And Trump is going to pay.

Democrats have politicized this outbreak and everything associated with it since day one.

What is untrue there?

We’ve been given conflicting advice from the “experts” including Fauci throughout this outbreak.

Part of his job, perhaps the biggest part is to keep a positive attitude and deliver an uplifting message.

Despite the hopes of democrats this is not the worst thing to ever befall us as a nation, it isn’t even the worst pandemic to affect us.

What he actually said.

Trump said he believes masks and facial coverings don’t work to prevent COVID-19 infections because people fidget with them too much.

It is perfectly accurate. Unless you take all of the recommended precautions and keep your hands off of your mask there is a real danger of masks making the problem worse. Among other things it gives people a false sense of security and invulnerability and that has been confirmed by numerous experts including Fauci and The US Surgeon General.

Yes, he has. Trump didn’t open anything.

Watch again. Fauci said that some states were wrong with how they opened up. Did Trump warn them about that? No, he told the states to open up. And the most telling was when Fauci was asked about the use of Hydroxychloroquine. He said that he didn’t support the use. Trump has said he does. Not in agreement again.

Trump has done everything Fauci has told him to do right down the line.

What is happening in Texas is not Trump’s fault and it’s not Abbott’s fault.

It’s ours. We knew what we were supposed to do and we didn’t do it. And now we face the consequences. Trump and governors are not our collective daddy. The government can’t save us.

We’re an undisciplined rabble.

Every state was given recommended guidelines to follow.

Every individual is responsible for their own conduct, not the mayor, the governor, or the POTUS.

The Federal Gov’t has no Power to dictate when or how states can or will reopen.

I see you conveniently forgot Trump being against Georgia opening, saying they were opening too fast.

It doesn’t matter what Trump does or says, he’s wrong and it’s all his fault…if you eat from the troughs? :sunglasses:
