just say they found it on hunter’s laptop. everyone will ignore it
And the picture in question is about as innocuous as you can get, it’s not like it showed their damaged ears or the betrayal and hopelessness in their eyes.

There is a problem with using an inflamatory image from an unrelated study and claim that it was from a study funded by the NIH.
Actually, “unrelated” is also dishonest.
The article you posted shows that NIH admits funding the same studies. They’re just saying the actual picture isn’t from one of their studies.

Man… if pictures of medical research upsets you guys… wait until you find out where our food comes from.

Your food maybe, what I don’t grow or hunt/fish myself I buy from farmers I know personally. Thinking about doing a few head of cattle myself next year. Produce most of my greens in my garage this time of year.

Man… if pictures of medical research upsets you guys…
What a stupid deflection.
Dude, you got pwnd by the headline of the link you posted. Quit digging with that shovel.

Here is the thing.
I don’t believe this sudden and newfound concern for the well being of animal conditions for medical experimentation.
I just don’t.
This is all for the right wing rage against Fauci and nothing more. Within a week it will become a meme that is used without context… you will have some silly picture and it will include things that have nothing to do with any of this research… or the topic itself. It is to have the image of Fauci killing puppies… for political fun and profit.
This is all to lead people by the nose into a rage because the right wing media just does not like Fauci.
That is all this is.
And who still uses “pwnd” ?
Psst, many of us have dogs. I have never supported and would never support any sort of painful research be carried out on them, ever.

Ohhhh you have a dog… that is so special.
I also have a dog… that makes me special too.
I still don’t believe this sudden concern for animal welfare when it comes to medical testing.
No, it doesn’t make us special which is why there is general disgust across the country that such research was funded with our tax dollars.

So when did this disgust start?
Was it years ago? Has there been any advocacy of this position that can be pointed out?

Wait. They do medical testing on animals?
Say it isn’t so!!!
Yes, and Fauci directs all of it.
MMMMUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

As soon as Fauci’s approval numbers outshone Trump’s at the beginning of the pandemic.

Disgust about unnecessary dog torture, pretty much always been a thing in the US, at least as long as I have been alive.

Is medical research deemed unnecessary now?

Care to tell us what medical purpose was served by allowing sand flies to eat their ears while they were immobilized? Can you think of some other way to infect them that doesn’t involve that step?

They are studying leishmaniasis infections.

I don’t believe this sudden and newfound concern for the well being of animal conditions for medical experimentation.
Opinion noted.
Doesn’t change the fact that you got suckered by the headline of the article you posted.
And to some degree I agree with you about the leveraging of the “breaking news” about the experiments funded by NIH. See my post #38.

And who still uses “pwnd” ?
Well I did. Got a problem with that? It conveyed the point. It applied to you.
