Fauci lied, beagles died

I am Diabetic, there were dog experiments in 1923 from Banting and Best that led to the treatment of Diabetes. At that time, that was the method used to the development of medicine that led to me, and millions of others still being alive. However, science has advanced alot since then, and there is no such need for this. There is no medical benefits to anybody having insects eating dogs. As a general rule, I don’t even like dogs very much, I don’t have any, but lots of people love them. I don’t like Peta, I don’t think you need to be a Peta advocate to realize that this is cruel and. serves no purpose and we should not be funding anything like this.

LOL at you thinking correcting misinformation is taking PETA seriously.

I’m not opposed to necessary animal research done in as humane a manner as possible. I’ve done it.

What they did to those dogs is torture.

The letter from Rep Mace says nothing about the main claims from White Coat Waste. Rep. Mace Leads Letter to Dr. Anthony Fauci on Cruel Taxpayer-Funded Experiments on Puppies | Representative Nancy Mace

She is upset about experimentation and cordectomies. She says nothing about the Tunisian studies that are supposedly linked to the NIH.

yep necessary medical research on animals, this one serves absolutely no purpose,

In before automatic (D)efens–…! never mind…

That was easier than I thought it would be. They hate PETA, until it aligns with their agenda, because-sing it with me now-they just be saying anything these days.

Who brought PETA up?

I like to think of a guy at RNC headquarters wearing a three piece suit and smoking a cigar saying, “Have you heard how much these kids love dogs now? Call them doggos. This beagle thing is gold, Jerry, gold!”

Me, to make you guys trip over yourselves to post that article and big-up the fish are people too, you should feed your cat tofu guys.

Not a con wing nut?

And when you brought PETA up, you were wrong. When it was corrected you use it as “proof” “cons” now love PETA.

Amazing.

The picture that everyone is up in arms about is from a different study that was not funded by the NIH.

I am not sure if White Coat Waste Project is on the up and up.

And you automatically believe them why?

Looks like Google is lumping animal-rights groups in with conservatives and people opposed to vaccine mandates:

First they came . . .

Now this is a great example of the dishonesty of lib fact checking.

The implication of your statement is that because the photos were allegedly from some other experiment not funded by NIH, then the allegations against the NIH-funded experiments should be dismissed.

And the Daily Mail headline does the same. Ditto the tag line.

Yet within the first screen of the article we see " ,but (NIH) admits to similar ones AND cutting the dogs’ vocal chords to keep them quiet …"

NIH is essentially saying, “Yes we did it too, but HAHA! you failed to get an actual picture of OURS!!”

I think that the plot is getting lost here.

Actually, I don’t want to lay this one directly on Fauci.

To me it’s just an example of how much money our government throws around (not just the current administration, but every one in our lifetime, and even before that.) Some of that money lands in nefarious hands, or funds odious initiatives. This beagle issue is just the tip of the iceberg. Fauci was the buck-stop leader when this happened. (Of course, now the administration and its media mouthpieces will circle the wagons to deflect this one with hand waves and word salads. We see already that libs are buying the dance.)

There is a problem with using an inflamatory image from an unrelated study and claim that it was from a study funded by the NIH.

Animal studies are a real thing. They happen. Sorry that you all hate that. This story first surfaced in August and got zero traction back then.

This is nothing more than the constant stream of spaghetti being thrown up against the wall to get something… anything on in Fauci because the right wing media hates the guy.

No, it is about providing Democrats cover to allow them to demand Fauci’s resignation without admitting he lied about funding dangerous coronavirus research in Wuhan.

Actually, “unrelated” is also dishonest.

The article you posted shows that NIH admits funding the same studies. They’re just saying the actual picture isn’t from one of their studies.
