I just watched Goodfellas for the umpteenth time on Sunday and Sorvino will always be remembered as Paulie.
IIRC he had originally been selected to play Jerry Orbach’s longterm character in Law and Order, but a back injury prevented him from doing so & the role instead went to Mr. Orbach.
