A senior aide to former Vice President Joe Biden confirmed “everything is going ahead as scheduled” Wednesday; saying the top Obama official will likely launch his presidential campaign in the coming weeks.
“Everything is going ahead as scheduled, said Greg Schultz, the man likely to head Biden’s 2020 bid for the White House.
“A top aide to former Vice President Joe Biden met with Democrats on Capitol Hill on Wednesday to remind them of Biden’s work in the 2018 midterm elections in a not-so-subtle nod to the 2020 race ahead,” states the report.
“During an hour-long meeting with Democratic chiefs of staff, Schultz did not dwell on the 2020 presidential race, but that was a clear subtext for his visit. He said Biden was committed to helping Democrats keep their House majority,” adds the author.
