Failed Texas Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke issued a dire warning on the presidential campaign trail this week; saying humans have just “ten years” before a climate apocalypse becomes unavoidable.
Beto was speaking with MSNBC host Chris Hayes when he was asked to comment on his latest environmental proposal that demands US taxpayers shell out $5 trillion to combat climate change.

“Having said that, I want to make sure those who work in the oil and gas industry, those who work in the fossil fuel industry are brought along as partners to make sure that we make this transition in the ten years we have left to us as the science and scientists tell us to make the kind of bold change that we need,” said O’Rourke.
