Does anyone read CBSSports.com?

Up until a few months ago, every article that appeared at CBS Sports had a comments thread.

A few months ago, these comment threads stopped appearing for me.

I can’t see them on Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

Does anyone know if the comments section was shut down for these articles, or is it just that I’ve got out of date browsers or they’re now set up incorrectly or something?

I know for a fact that ESPN has discontinued comment threads on their articles. It wouldn’t be a stretch of the imagination to see other sports channels/sites doing the same thing. All it ever leads to is a bunch of flaming/trolling/racism/hatred. Why devout resources to moderating such trash?
