Hungary police force has the number of decrease on the police website I will link it but it is in Hungarian. Not everyone wants to take the time to translate it roughly 99.9% decreasr in border crossings after the fence went up as well as more police on the border. They have been building a second fence since, not sure of its progress.

Until our government can figure out a way to process asylum seekers, and turn immigrants into legal citizens in an expedited manner, I am afraid I have to support building of some kind of TEMPORARY border barrier. Not a permanent wall. But something that can stem the flow.
My problem with the current attempt at building a border barrier is the way our president and government have gone about it. Since January 2017 how many miles of barrier have been constructed?

Of those 201-205 miles the Trump administration has received funding for through a combination of appropriations and the Treasury Forfeiture Fund (TFF), however, only 46.7 miles have been built two-and-a-half years into Trumpās presidency. Much of the border wall that has been built has been put up in places where construction is replacing ādilapidated designs.ā

Why all the lying, about whoās crossing, why all the lies about whoās going to pay for it. Just build some damn 13 foot high fencesā¦put them in place and stop the flow?
Trump Builds great thingsā¦Heās a great builder of things. But he canāt put up more than 47 miles of what amounts to a fence with wire at the top in two years time. Thatās what my problem is.
I would say the numbers are somewhat close we donāt have other numbers that I have seen other than the governments which if you compare to a separate fence put up to stop migration on the western Balkan route had similiar success with a different source for the numbers

We canāt track them. They have to list something of an penitentiary or address but there is no longer sponsorship required or sponsors being held responsible for those who disappear.
There is no possible way to know how many actually remain in the country because there are numerous ways they can exit without passing through customs.
The fact that very few migrants even try to go through Hungary and that Hungary passed a law NGO officials caught helping migrants will go to jail should say something about the numbers they donāt ā ā ā ā around in Hungary on migration.
I am not sure why people doubt the numbers even the NGO a far left organization estimates only 2 migrants get into Hungary per day.
