And what’s your point? Bad people have always been able to do bad things to other people.
It is not just extreme leftists who are concerned. Shortly before the attack on Iran, Tulsi Gabbard issued this warning:
“Because as we stand here today, closer to the brink of nuclear annihilation than ever before, political elite warmongers are carelessly fomenting fear and tensions between nuclear powers.” Gabbard went on to suggest that powerful people are confident they’d have access to “nuclear shelters” and would therefore be unaffected by any consequences.
“It’s up to us, the people, to speak up and demand an end to this madness. We must reject this path to nuclear war and work toward a world where no one has to live in fear of a nuclear holocaust,” she continues.

Last reports had him in a bunker. With missiles headed to Tel Aviv, that would be the smart thing to do.
The key operative phrase is “seen hitting an area where IDF facilities are located”. I don’t doubt military installations were targeted, but I believe most missiles were intercepted and those few that did make it through got close, but did not score a direct hit.
That is the major difference in capabilities between Iran and Israel. Israel can put a ordinance through the window of a building with precision. Iran can land their missiles within fifty to a hundred feet or so of a target. However, they do occasionally get lucky.
Those images might be misleading. They’ve been able to get in the general area with their missiles in the past. In regard to the damaged buildings, it is highly unlikely those specific buildings were targeted. It’s more likely that missiles were fired towards a densely populated area where it is almost certain they would hit something and cause damage.
Iran knows they are hopelessly outgunned and are looking for the terror effect by targeting civilians.
Then there’s this:
Iran has powerful friends.
And??
Oh gee!
Israel doesn’t have any of those.
May I ask a question?
From where does all this Israel hatred stem?
I mean what have you got against the Jewish state of Israel?
Israel just attacked a country that is ten time its size. Israeli jets required refueling in order to reach Iran, and that almost certainly involved US bases between Israel and Iran. US Navy ships are reportedly providing air-defense for Israel.
The US Navy has already lost two battles with the Houthis. Even with US help, it unlikely that Israel will defeat Iran.
Iran has reiterated previous warnings that US bases will be hit if the US aids attacks on Iran, which is clearly occurring. The message from Moscow and Beijing to Tehran is “we have your back”.
I still fail to see your point.
Iran won’t be allowed get a nuclear weapon. That’s what this has been all about. Nothing else matters.
Iran does not need nuclear weapons if Russia and China promise to retaliate against an Israeli nuclear first strike.
The timing of Tulsi Gabbard’s warning is consistent actions of the US and its allies that are driving the world towards nuclear war.
What are you even talking about?
I am saying that Russia and China are not going to allow the US and Israel win a war of aggression against Iran.
I don’t see China or Russia getting involved past sending weapons. Russia has their own war going on and don’t need a nuclear war with Israel. And China’s are set on Taiwan and there semiconductors
The best case that I see is a “Bay of Pigs” scenario. Neocons and Israeli leaders have convinced Trump to allow Israel to launch the attack using grossly optimistic estimates of the chances of success. Like Kennedy did in the 1961, Trump may decide to cut the losses and end the war instead of escalating using direct US military attacks.
As far as Russia and China, they don’t need to use nuclear weapons to provide deterrence against an Israeli nuclear attack. Russian hypersonic missiles with conventional warheads can wipe out anything of military value in Israel. They may be manned with Russian contractors and use Russian supplied targeting information, but so long as an Iranian finger pushes the button, it is an Iranian attack.
Obama funded Iran. Wonder how he is feeling today about the Muslim brothers?
You say that about every venture except for when it’s Russia
Are we willing to make the zero-enrichment demand the hill to die on?
Does Trump have the courage to tell Netanyahu, “Go take a hike”?
Trump has been transparent with us. He said he gave Iran 60 days to come to an agreement, the 60 days were up Thursday the 12th. The attack by Israel was after that.
