They’re not suicidal. Pakistan, as a Muslim country, has the same religious obligations yet they haven’t tried to do it. And they’ve had useable nuclear weapons since 1998.
The difference is Israel. Pakistan doesn’t care about Israel. Iran is obsessed with the destruction of Israel.

Muslims as a whole are obsessed with 1948. It’s considered a slight against Islam itself. Pakistan has similar feelings to Iran about it. It’s one of the only things the entire Arab world generally agrees on.
If it helps, the religion itself is complete BS and nothing more than a tool to those wielding its power.

Sure Israel will continue to get stronger especially with the US committing to providing Israel with at least $3.3 billion in aid each year predominantly for military use.
I did some research and discovered that in total since 2023 the US has spent over $22 billion in providing aid to Israel.
Its an insane eye watering amount especially with so much focus on the US cutting spending.
Israel’s military continues to get stronger because it has some of the best creative minds in the world innovating state of the art technology solutions. We see that same innovation prowess in the US and in China.
Iran is a backward third world country that has nothing even remotely similar. It can’t begin to compete with Israel in that area.

That is one major difference between Israel and Iran. Israel remains at the forefront of innovation. Iran is but a backward country.

And they can attract the best minds and have the money to invest in R&D because of US dollars. Maybe its time for Israel to stand on its own?
Iran is not among the worlds poorest nations nor is it backward by modern standards .Its considered lower middle income nation. Irans literacy rate is about 88% which is upper middle tier of global literacy rankings.
It suffers from economic and political mismanagement and sanctions.
Iran is not a country I would choose to live in and its support of terror groups is anathema to all decent people and countries but that does not mean its not backward.
Those minds are home-grown, not imported for money.
Iran isn’t even in the same league as Israel. Comparatively speaking, Iran is a backward country in comparison to Israel. Israel is having its way with Iran’s military and there is nothing they can do about it.
I don’t think Israel was ever going to let Iran have nuclear weapons without a huge fight first. You can only say death to Israel so many times especially after what happened to the Jews in World War II so they probably take those threats very seriously.
