I have no problem taking out Iran nuclear facilities…none at all. What Iranians want to do afterwards is up to them.
I think Iran has found out what FAFO REALLY means…LMAO
Ha, had to look that one up.
Right but would you support any moves by the US to try and facilitate regime change by putting US troops into Iran?
No…anymore questions?
Just wondering. That is what I thought you would say. Sort of reflects the battle going on in Trumps admin with some advising him to deploy the bunker buster and others no dont get involved.
I can see both sides and ultimately it will be Trumps decision. No real good options as either way carries a very real risk.
I just think no new war mantra in this case doesn’t apply here…we basically been at war with em for half decade.
More like 1979.
Yes, I meant half a century.
Great, let Israel finish of the Iranians. Based on Israeli claims, they have practically won an incredible victory. There is no reason for the US to join the direct fighting. Let the Israelis bask in the glory of single-handedly defeating a country 10 times their size.
Of course that analyis is based on Israeli claims with zero questions and little to no actual evidence. If Israel claims air superiority over Tehran, they must have air superiority. Fantastic, leave us out of the war.
On the other hand, Israel’s efforts to drag the US into the war only make sense if the actual situation is not nearly as rosy as Israel claims. Iranian missiles continue to hit Israel, and Israeli air defense is unable to stop them. Even Israeli media tacitly admits that.
If the battles with the Houthis are any guide, the war of attrition has just barely begun. If that is the case, let Israel and Iran slug it out. It is not our war.
Two positives could come from this conflict
-
Iran no nuclear program
-
Every saber rattling nation is getting a huge reality check on the disparity between world powers right now. There is only a handful of nations that are top military superpowers. And after the top 5 the distance between number 5 and 25 is immense.
No I won’t, I support what the G7 said Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon. Although I must admit if the Mullahs are toppled not going to cry over it.
“Iran is the principal source of regional instability and terror. We have been consistently clear that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon,” declared the statement, issued by the leaders of the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan, along with the EU. -G7
I 100% agree with you. I hope the US does not get into a direct fight with Iran. At this point, I don’t think Israel is gonna listen to anyone to not take out the nuclear program. They’ve been waiting to do this for 20 years and they never had a better opportunity.
Darwin Award goes to the planners of October 7th.
October 7 has been Israel’s 9-11. Like the Americans with the 9-11 attack, the Israelis had advance knowledge of the coming attack and did nothing to stop it. In both 9-11 and 10-7, the response to the attack has provided pretext for wars of retribution that go on for years and result in many times the number of causalities as the original attack.
It is as if elements in Israel and the US needed the attacks to occur . . .
Alternatively, leaders in Israel and the US are believing their own propaganda and are grossly underestimating Iran’s capabilities.
The Iran-is-out-missiles narrative sounds a lot like the failed Russia-is-out-missiles narrative. Western media has been saying that Russia is just weeks away from running out of missiles for the last three years. Instead of running out missiles, the number of Russian missile attacks have only increased with time.
I hope he does it. Iran has been starting crap since 1979. Take them out already. Dont drop just one MOAB. Drop 10 on that site and send a clear message. Then fly home and say yeah we did it. We dont apologize.
Definitely not.
“They’re not ready for democracy.”
We’d miss out on all those arms sales to the side we wanted to win in their civil war.
That time has already come and gone.
Where do you come up with that garbage? I mean really.
