Nobody is paying illegals $18 to clean offices. That’s why they’re hiring illegals. And paying them cash.

I cleaned offices when I was putting my wife through college,
(and getting my degree part time).
It was a decision I made right after our son was born.
Most of my co-workers were just plain old HS graduates who had never gotten a job skill, mostly women.
At least one of them was an old man who had retired w/out benefits, medicare paid only 60% of HC costs. He went back to work for the benefits.

Start with no welfare for the able bodied. Add in second chance employment opportunities. Let the market take it from there.

No disagreement, but you have to do that first.
I still disagree with punishing the private sector for the failings of the state.
This is not a “failings of the state thing.”

“I can undercut the other guy, and crush his business and his employees by doing nothing but illegal stuff 100% of the time.”
People like that should not be in business.
That’s why fining them for the one single act of hiring illegals is insufficient.
They are dishonest through and through. The American economy is better off if those people are deep in debt, fresh out of prison are washing dishes and scrubbing toilets while the honest entrepreneurs they have crushed can finally have a level playing field (and can be THEIR boss for a change.)

Stealing, using drugs, not showing up, doing zero quality work.

The government’s fault in this is that they didn’t crack down sooner.
Actually it is…it’s also those that hire illegals to undermine their competitors.
Just imagine we had orderly immigration, one that are vetted to come into our country legally to work. How would we pay for this they may ask, well it would be lot cheaper then what Biden done with his open border…and lot cheaper then hire thousands of ICE agents to collect/round them up for deportation.

In college they teach something called management.
Part of it is about reducing/eliminating stuff like that
So basically there are two paths.

go to college and learn to manage effectively

don’t learn that stuff, open a criminal enterprise that is 100% about hiring criminals, one that can only exist by constantly committing and re-committing the same crimes again and again. . . . and then pretend to be an honest Christian conservative, blame big business and government and play the victim
Just imagine we put the law breakers in jail,
seize their assets
and
open them up to class action lawsuits . . . not only giving honest business people a level playing field, but also forcing them to compensate their victims with whatever tiny paltry assets they have left.
