Potential 2020 Democratic challenger Kirsten Gillibrand refused to comment on the political future of former Vice President Joe Biden this week; saying the voters “will decide” if he’s fit to serve as President of the United States.
Gillibrand was speaking with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews when she was asked to comment on multiple allegations of “inappropriate” behavior levied against the top Obama aide in recent days.
“You know what I’m trying to do, get an answer on this very tough question: Is he fit to be the nominee for the Democratic Party? Is he fit for the office?” asked Matthews.
“I think it’s an issue he will have to address with voters, and the voters will decide,” Gillibrand said.
