Some of the guests Democrats have invited to the State of the Union, according to the Washington Post (link at bottom):
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) invited Ana Maria Archila, a sexual assault activist who confronted then-Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) in an elevator last year during confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.), Rep. A. Donald McEachin (D-Va.), and Rep. Chris Pappas (D-N.H.) all invited transgender veterans and service members to protest the administration’s ban on transgender individuals in the military.
Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-Va.) and Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) have invited federal workers or family members hit hard by the government shutdown
And my favorite: Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) and Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-N.J.) bringing undocumented former employees of Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, N.J.
Still think someone should have invited Stormy Daniels.
