Democrats Deliver a Gut Punch to Farmers and Ranchers

This is just one example, the democrats are trying to close up all gov owned property all over the country, if you think inflation is high now, wait till all this gets implemented:

No food, energy, or country living for you!

America LAST!

Energy jobs for Russia and the ME but none for our people.

Farming and farm jobs for every other country but ours and our people.

Democrats went from the party of blue collar and middle class people and poor to hate of them.

Communists have always hated rural citizens who are not dependent on the government to exist. The Dems have gone so far left I could see them eventually attempting collectivization in the U.S. to feed the rabble in the cities and starve the producers.

BLM may be worse than ATF.

Theyā€™re in a race to the bottom against the other BLM.

BLM in Wyoming is the equivalent of abortion and gun control in the rest of the nation, it automatically triggers people.

I do not support every aspect of the ā€œpreferredā€ plan by a long shot.

But the anti-BLM types are going way over the top with hysteria and misinformation.

Yes, we can and should oppose the plan in its current form, but lets do so using facts, not hysteria and bluster.

For example from the linked article:

The most restrictive and ā€œpreferredā€ option identified in the draft environmental impact statement would make roughly 0.02% of the region ā€” 8,576 acres of 3.6 million ā€” unavailable for livestock grazing. The remaining 99.98% of the area, some 3.583 million acres, would continue to be leased to cattle ranchers and wool growers, according to the document.

And out of the allotment that would be closed is a section that has not been grazed by its allottee in 27 years.

Yes, there are legitimate concerns that should be addressed.

And then there is pure hysteria, which should be ignored.

There was an error on BLMā€™s part concerning potential road closures which is being corrected. The actual plan in question does not provide for road closures.

Yeahā€¦ and all the energy jobs gone, along with the additional inflation because of it.

Andā€¦I read it. They democrats WILL do EXACTLY what I said in the OP. Itā€™s not just in Wyoming, itā€™s all over the country where they control land.

It may start happening. Europe is shutting down tens of thousands of farms. I guess itā€™s the latest leftist fashionā€¦

Now itā€™s coming hereā€¦I guess we need to all eat bugsā€¦

Freeze and starve in the dark! The left hates the middle class.

Democrats find productive people an anathema

Well said!

Thereā€™s nothing different about this particular RMP process than any other. Nothing. This is NEPA, itā€™s the way the agency has been developing and approving land management policies since 1970. Furthermore, they havenā€™t even issued a Record of Decision because itā€™s still in the public comment/review period. Which means, you have an opportunity to weight in with your thoughts. Iā€™d hope you do given your passion on the subject.

As they review comments, the alternatives are either changed or new alternatives are developed altogether. My guess is that ultimately Alt D will be further modified and eventually adopted.

If they chose Alt B in itā€™s current state, it would impact energy jobs but nothing remotely close to ā€œall the energy jobs goneā€. By contrast, if they go with Alt D in itā€™s current state then there will actually be more minerals available for extraction than there currently are.

But Iā€™m sure you read itā€¦

Oh yeah, while weā€™re at it, letā€™s do this too!

Cool.

ā€œNorth Cascades National Park and the surrounding ecosystem have more than enough open space to successfully recover grizzly bears.
The North Cascades ecosystem, located in north central Washington, totals more than 9,500 square miles of mostly protected public lands. It includes the national park, two national forests and several wilderness areas. This vast, remote and secure habitat is comparable to the landscapes centered on Yellowstone, Glacier and Banff national parks ā€” all places with viable grizzly bear populations.ā€
