A new survey released by Harvard this week shows the party’s most familiar names at the top of the Democratic candidate list for the 2020 presidential election, with Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie sanders leading the pack.
The poll has Biden at the top of the list with 32% of Democratic support, followed by Clinton with 18% and Bernie Sanders with 16%.
The stunning statistics raise serious questions over who will lead the Democratic Party heading into the 2020 race for the White House and whether a younger, more progressive candidate would resonate with its liberal base.
