Dementia addled Sundowner Believes his Powers Include Dictating Network Sports TV Programming

BDS.

Sad

In every other setting, the President has used his power to REMOVE power from such unelected bureaucrats, and this “tweet” about the Army-Navy game does just the opposite.

So

  • You can, here, properly accuse him of ‘hypocrisy.’

But the fact is

  • Our bureaucracies do have a stupid large amount of power
    and
  • If you are just learning this now, then there is only one “Dementia addled Sundowner” in this conversation, and it is not me, and it is not Donald Trump.

Issuing an edict demand of networks, for their sports tv programming schedule, is completely outside of the realm of a president, and pretending he can control the schedules and programming of networks, team schedules, and playoffs is a sign of a psychotic sundowner imagining himself with power over even the littlest things in American life.

Go Packers!

I appreciate that, friend, and I’m sorry  :hugs: :purple_heart:

Lol - and during Bidens term there were not new threads created every day criticizing something Biden had said, done or not done.

its a political message board so what else are we to discuss?

How about we discuss that it shouldn’t be BDS because that is simply an unimaginative renaming of TDS. How about Biden Obsessive Disorder and we can tell people they have BOD.

sorry to expose you.

One. Count 'em. One righty had the spine to speak out against this crazy message from DJT.

Just going over basic history. During his last term, there was a thread for every tweet. The left has actually been a little lax on spleen venting this term, must have been due to shock. I’m glad to see it ramping back up.

Nothing demented about it. I’m glad he’s insuring that the Army/Navy game gets the prominence it deserves.

He’s trying to dictate programming by private companies.

He isn’t ensuring anything; he has no authority for this.

But perhaps he can be influential for exclusivity next year. Who can forget the National Tragedy™ of the Bucked Up LA Bowl playing at the same time as Army-Navy last month?

I cannot “heart” this, honestly I haven’t watched NFL in probably 20 years. I prefer college BUT with NIL, the transfer portal, it is getting to be a lot like pro ball. I miss the days of true college ball.

You don’t think the PoTUS dictating commercial TV programing is demented?

That NIL thing, what a world!

I do feel like college players deserved some of the money, but I would have preferred college ball never becoming the huge money train in the first place.

And here we have the Wisconsin Badgers who simply don’t have the wealthy donor base that other teams have to be able to make those big NIL payments, I’m not sure how this all plays out.

Gone are the days when you can put on a phony show trial across the major networks.

Must have really sucked for you in the 80’s when a presidential anddress interrupted the 3 channel broadcast.
