The powerless and careerless left are attacking the property holding and politically seated left in an attempt to either radicalise the leftist sellouts or replace them with members of the new radical left. Once they have taken control of the already left areas, they intend to use those commandeered resources to wage phase two against conservatives.
So in your reasoning, a group of people who lack the work ethic and/or intelligence to obtain a viable career are nonetheless capable of formulating and beginning to implement a multi-phase civil war against two separate factions.
This war begins with the acquisition of resources (despite no proven ability by group members to acquire a 1994 Geo Metro) and continuing with resource deployment (despite no proven ability by group members to sell even their dankest hemp necklaces).

Honestly, doesn’t sound like that horrible of an idea right now. I mean at this point even Seattle thinks they are nuts.
