That doesn’t mean a full abandonment of China. It does mean China’s days as the go-to manufacturing hub for the Western world are over.

By the way the article doesn’t mention a single thing about companies coming back to US only that they are abandoning China in favor of other south each Asia countries.

Also it relies on USMCA to show that it is the reason that Mexico is becoming a better choice for American companies by showing statistics for years when USMCA didn’t exist.

Companies should not have been over there from the get go. Moving to China on the cheap instead of staying here and actually employing and paying Americans a fair wage. America was great because we actually made ■■■■ , we need to get back to this.
I think we should keep great relations with China in regards to trade and maintaining international peace.

The other reason is that manufacturing it here, they’d have to adhere to our country’s pollution standards. In China, they can eliminate the cost of that. What really ticks me off though is that then, our government allows this product to be sold here? These companies rape the environment, our government is aware and then turns a blind eye while spouting off about man made global warming.
