I have a couple of things to say about this.
One… he is really terrible at this “sport”. Playing the “Sport of Estate Real” the President nearly had everything taken away from him from his airline, yacht, down to ownership in the very buildings that he owned.
Two… How does this square with his base? He ran on a narrative of animus that the deck was stacked against the little guy while coastal elites were getting away with screwing over America. Now that there is definitive proof that the President in the past is perhaps one of the greatest abusers of this system, he worked to pass a tax package that not only doesn’t fix this situation but encourages it even more.

I wonder how his tax figures look now. Hopefully not as bad as this. Makes you wonder he don’t want to show his taxes.

Here is the allowance that Donald Trump’s daddy gave him…
- By age 3, $200,000 a year.
- He was a millionaire by age 8.
- By the time he was 17, his father had given him part ownership of a 52-unit apartment building.
- Soon after he graduated from college, he was receiving the equivalent of $1 million a year from his father.
- The money increased with the years, to more than $5 million annually in his 40s and 50s.
The 1st generation makes it. The 2nd generation lives off of it. And the 3rd generation blows it.
And like everything… the President didn’t even get that one right.
He blew a lot of his Dad’s money.
If he just lived off of it, he would be a much wealthier man.

Just because you got a tax cut does not make it a myth.
If 99 rich people get a tax cut and one not rich person also gets one, it doesn’t mean suddenly it’s a myth that a tax cut was aimed at the wealthy.
The bulk of the tax cut was corporate cuts and cuts to higher income earners.
This is simply a fact.
I have not yet calculated if I got a cut. I shifted tax brackets this year but also I lost a lot of deductions I normally got to take…and even the doubled standard deduction is less than what I used to claim in standard deductions plus exemptions.
