Outgoing Rep. Trey Gowdy unloaded on former FBI chief James Comey Monday; blasting the disgraced bureau boss over his demands for a “public hearing” regarding his botched investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.
Knowing what a great prosecutor Trey Gowdy was in South Carolina, I pray our next AG will be Trey. You won’t find any better person with his passion to curtail crime & corruption. If I were HRC & Co., Rep. Gowdy would be the LAST person I’d want coming after me. Trey leaves D.C., as he put it, to return to what he does best. As Congressman, Mr. Gowdy can only do so much. TG for AG. Would be one of, if not, the greatest appointments by President Trump & I firmly believe the Senate would overwhelmingly confirm Trey Gowdy.
