Democratic Presidential candidate Marianna Williamson left millions of users on social media scratching their heads over the weekend; falsely claiming President Trump pardoned now-deceased cult-leader Charles Manson.
“There is something deeply sinister about Trump pardoning Charles Manson, even posthumously. Dog whistles of the very worst possible kind,” posted Williamson, before deleting the comment.
This never happened. Williamson just tweeted this.

“An article claiming Trump pardoned the swastika-foreheaded fiend appeared on satire website moronmajority.com on Nov. 16 and was picked up by lefty blog site Daily Kos — leading some Twitter users to speculate that Williamson saw the article but failed to practice a little self-reflection before smashing the tweet button,” reports the New York Post.
Manson died in prison in 2017 after serving 45 years for ordering the 1969 murder of actress Sharon Tate and others in Los Angeles, California.
