Culture Wars: A New Woke

At the close of this election, we see less than half the country in one column and a little more than that in another. We’re split on ideals, economics, faith in God and government.

But what swung the pendulum?

Inflation is definitely a huge issue, but our democratic friends say that’s been corrected. The price at grocery stores says different and regular people, working class people see that daily. It puts a dent in their already struggling budget. They feel it real time. But they’re told every time they turn on the news everything is fine.

Illegal immigration has driven down wages for the working class, or at the very least left them stagnant. People have died at the hands of some of these immigrants that should have never been allowed in this country. A housing shortage has developed in part from mass immigration and relocated immigrants to the interior of our country. Gangs of Venezuelans have captured apartment complexes turning them into no go areas IN AMERICA. The news says, it’s all good. With a handwave, “These are not the pariah you seek.”

Our president is a moron ■■■■■■■ . His VP, a vapid word salad shill for the democrat machine. Their incompetence showcased the deep state bureaucracy. And the media fawned over them. Even when one faltered, the replacement was hoisted up and celebrated as brave, intelligent, historical! She was anything but, at best opportunistic. Working class Americans were again given a different reality than what was easily observable.

Did Trump win, or did the propaganda arm of the Democrat party lose by being completely transparent with their lies? I’d like to think America hates a liar more than loves a braggart.

Are we entering a new woke era, where a majority of the people no longer believe the democrat spin and the obvious left wing media that makes up most of mainstream media?

I sure ■■■■■■■ hope so!

Well, that’s not woke.

It’s awake.

I think certain segments are waking up.

Men have had it with feminism bs.

Young males are not signing up for college.

Yeah, there’s some awakening.

My hope is that the media continues to push their agenda down everyone’s throats, and more see their lies. MSM is either blind to their own bs or arrogant enough that they’re unable to smell it.

Speaking of arrogant did you hear where teary eyed Kimmel said Trump winning was going to be bad for all including conservatives.

That conservatives just don’t see it yet.

What arrogance. He obviously thinks himself smarter than us garbage folks and sees what we are unable to see.

Here’s an idea. How about there late night guys actually go back to being funny!

Never knew what Johnny Carson’s politics were but he was funny! Took shots at both sides of the isle with his jokes.

They’re definitely doubling down in the infotainment arena. Some guy on CNN was actually trying to persuade the other talking heads to value the other half of the county’s opinion yesterday. I’m sure he’ll be gone next week so they can go back to railing against Trump for eating a hotdog with a fork or some ■■■■ , or he’ll fall back in line.

You speak out about the Virtuous Republic you get sent to the Place De Le Revolution. That’s how that happens with Jacobins.

The last four years did the Democratic party in. Despite the worst four years since Jimmy Carter, and the worst candidate they put up since 1988, the rust belt was still relatively close. Those were union members, X union members, and working class people that voted for Trump. They believe in him.

I’m not sure we’ll ever see this again after Trump leaves office. Those are not red states. Those states will not vote for the typical republican. They’ll see the Democrat as the least of the two evils. As they’ve been doing since the 80s.

Talk about a beta…

Have you seen Sunni Hostin’s angry meltdowns on the View? :grinning:

She was angrily asking what kind of country and what kind of voters would send Trump to the WH. :grinning:

Not if they keep up the woke lib nonsense.

You could be right. Another bad idea is to call Latinos racist and misogynists. Instead of finding out the real reason they voted for Trump. BTW, over 50% within 20 miles of the border of Mexico. In one area, 75% voted for Trump.

I’ll give the Young Turks credit. They’re one of the few not blaming the electorate for the loss.
