Senator Ted Cruz spoke with Sean Hannity Monday night on the recently released FISA abuse report; saying he was stunned by the “abuse of power” by the Obama administration and members of the Deep State.
“This is serious stuff. We’ve got a dirty dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton… Now you have this report, your reaction?” asked Hannity.
“It is stunning the abuse of power that we saw in the Obama administration. Sadly, it continued over with the Deep State for the first couple of years of the Trump administration. As an alumnus at the Department of Justice, I’m angry,” said Cruz.
“The FBI and the Department of Justice were grossly incompetent. They were utterly negligent in ordering the surveillance of a presidential nominee and of a sitting president,” he added.
