Sen. Ted Cruz ripped California Governor Gavin Newsom’s outrageous assertion this week that doctors should prescribe housing like medicine; saying you cannot “write a slip of paper” and have a house “magically appear.”
“This is the Leftist mind: write a slip of paper & a house will magically appear. Never mind that the person doesn’t have a job, the contractor can’t get a CA permit to build the house, rent control has caused a housing shortage & homeless people are crapping on the doorstep,” posted Cruz on Twitter.

Newsom left millions of users scratching their heads on social media Friday; bizarrely saying that American doctors should be allowed to “prescribe housing” like they do “insulin or antibiotics.”
