Crime: Explained in a way even liberals can understand (I hope)

Question: Which is more crime ridden. Blue states or red states?
Answer: It mostly doesn’t matter.

What matters? Blue area or red area. If you go by states, then Emeryville California and Danville, both near San Francisco should have the same crime rate. Yet they do not. Why? Because Emeryville is as blue as can be and Danville is as red as can be. In blue areas you have blue police chiefs, blue DA’s, blue mayors, and blue city council. In red areas it’s the opposite. The governor and the state police are not managing these areas. Blue areas are very weak on crime. Concerned with mass incarceration, perceived racism, victimology, reparations and stupid crap like that. Endless excuse making. Red areas do not tolerate excuse making for crime. You commit crimes and you’re in trouble.
I told you it was easy libs! Now let’s hear some excuses!!!

Interesting. What specifically is Danville doing that is different from Emeryville?

You could say that of ANY red area vs. blue area outside of the elite Hampton type areas where they eject illegals and act like conservatives.

It’s more what they’re NOT doing. You don’t have to meet a thousand dollar minimum to be arrested for theft. They don’t have a no cash bail policy. Blue areas are very weak on crime. Concerned with mass incarceration, perceived racism, victimology, reparations and stupid crap like that.

What’s your theory?

This minimum is for misdemeanor vs felon. Shoplifting anything can lead to arrest. That minimum is California law.

How does having a no cash bail policy increase crime? You can have that policy and still keep violent criminals behind bars. It’s judge discretion.

Danville median house hold income
Is $220k

Emeryville median house hold income is 45k

I’m certain that tells the entire story around why Danville has less crime than Emeryville.

Right?

It puts violent offenders back on the street. Liberal DA’s frequently show poor judgement by treating the offenders as if they were the victims. Then people are being lied to. Being told white racism is preventing them from escaping.

What’s your theory?

Potentially…

As does cash bail, right?

I think it’s a proven fact that many who are released without bail immediately re-offend.

Ok. My turn to ask a question. What is your theory as to why blue areas typically have more crime than red?

Where is the data on this?

Great point! Two questions:
Why do red areas have such higher income? (I can tell you)
And.
How poor would YOU have to be to rape or kill you neighbor? How poor would YOU have to be to shoot and NFL player for his watch? Nobody in blue areas is starving. All of their basic needs are being met. Food, housing, clothing access to education.

What about those who are released with bail?

I don’t know if that’s necessarily true.

Palo Alto has median household income of 200k+ and it’s a blue city/town.

No idea. I am not living in poverty.

See above.

Remember when your candidate released a cop killer so he could heat up his wife?

Dumb question. They can re-offend too. Some cannot afford bail so they sit safely in jail. Not out killing other democrats.

No issues with innocent people, who are poor, sitting in jail because they don’t have bail money?

You’re worse than I thought. I can tell you without a doubt, I would not kill or rape my neighbor. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Especially if all my basic needs were being met. Then I would get myself they hell out of there. Move to a nice middle class Red area.

It happens. Nothing is perfect. And it’s incredibly rare.

So we punish poor criminals but wealthy criminals can walk free.

You mentioned “poor” so I was addressing the question from that perspective.

You have no data to support that claim. Just like you have no data to support that cashless bail leads to an increase in crime.
