Used executive power to direct businesses to ramp up production of critical medical supplies? Mobilized the awesome might of the Corps of Engineers to construct field hospitals and isolation shelters? Bitten the bullet and told us as citizens what we needed to know and do six weeks ago instead of today?

He is STILL lying. Just tell the truth calmly with reassurance.

I suggest these people who knew how it was obviously going down do a search on google using a time period of January and early February.
What you will find is there was still no widespread agreement on the nature of this virus.
On January 22, China revealed for the first time that the virus could be spread from person to person.
The WHO did not recommend travel restrictions from China, nor did they consider this a world wide emergency.
Too many are looking at what did happen and acting like it could all be and was predicted from the beginning.

People seem to forget that the President has a lot of leeway in directing, not only the government, but the private sector as well, to respond to a crisis. If he’s willing to use it for something besides a big beautiful wall.
