I was rather proud to see that a Constitutional Sheriff event here in North Carolina was attended by exactly one North Carolina Sheriff, the Sheriff of Cherokee County, where the event took place.
Cherokee County is a small county of 28,000 people, located at the extreme southwest corner of the State.
64 NC Sheriffs are Republican, 35 are Democrat and 1 is Independent.
And out of those 64 Republican Sheriffs, they only got one to bite at this fringe ideology.
