Of what? Fully automatic weapons? The answer to my question? I don’t even know what the object of the fear would be.
I asked you a purely informational question since it’s a subject you seem to know about. I didn’t even know exactly what the regulations were when I asked. In response, I get this terrible action-movie dialogue, weird mind-reading projection, and meta-commentary. It’s a tedious way to interact.

I am sure some criminals have them, but you honestly don’t think the regulations on these weapons worked at all? How many mass shootings have involved fully-automatic weapons? How many murders each year? I am open to the argument that the regulations are an infringement on the Second Amendment, but the more I look at it, the more it looks to me like the regulations have been effective.

Both decisions were the right constitutional rulings as all of the three equal branches of Government have limitations. Over the the history of the country that fact has been lost in translation and political activism.

To make the distinction that’s relevant to the discussion of the regulations, among other reasons. People use that term here and elsewhere all the time., which you already know. It doesn’t seem to cause much confusion for others.
What did the SCOTUS opinion do to impact the current infringements on automatic arms?
Actually the abortion ruling is consistent with the rulings about vaccine mandates. The court has ruled that congress and/or the state legislatures can pass laws that regulate abortions and they can pass laws that mandate vaccinations. “My body, my choice” is not a fundamental right guaranteed in the constitution.
No constitutional amendment is required for congress to establish national policies in either case, but Democrats are unwilling do that. They would rather incite violence against the justices and blame the courts.
Um…the Democrats did attempt to pass a national policy on abortion.
But you knew that.
And now that these rulings have been made, I do believe they do preclude any Congressional legislation regulating abortion at a national level. Under what power in the Constitution could they do this? Guns, conceivably, could be regulated as interstate commerce, but abortions?
I could be wrong, of course.
Part of the problem seems to be our government controlled public school system does not teach the importance of having a written federal constitution adopted by the States and people therein, nor how to determine what the constitution means when disputes arise as to its meaning.

What makes a Supreme Court opinion legitimate is when it is in harmony with the text of our Constitution and its documented legislative intent which gives context to its text.

Representative democracy means that painful compromises are necessary to pass legislation. Democrats prefer rule by decree.
With no federal legislation, each state is free to make its own laws. That is the best policy for now from what I can see.
