Keep posting those fairy tales. Hate does awful things to people.
No, they could declare it an insurrection, and keep any CHAZ people off of the ballot in Idaho.
Are you saying that Trump didn’t try to have Obama disqualified from becoming president by pushing a lie about his birth certificate?
There’s a term for what they’re trying to do… it’ll come to me…

CHAZ was an actual insurrection.
It most definitely was. So was the Summer of Love.
Neither.

Steel-W0LF:
By lib logic.
CHAZ was an actual insurrection.
Idaho could declare the events in Washington an insurrection, and any politician that aided, provided support, or provided cover for the insurrectionists in Washington cannot hold nation wide office.
If anyone who was in CHAZ ran for a political office it would be an interesting argument to make against them. But I think that it is apples and oranges given that Trump was using the power of the office to attempt to overturn the election that he knew that he had lost.
Irrelevant. That’s not a stipulation in tge Amendment
And you were doing so well; right up until you got in your fee fees.
Power was peacefully transferred. What the Jan 6 rioters did was interrupt nothing more than a ceremony. Which both parties in the past have used to grandstand.
Back to the motte!
Yeah, but that don’t get him disqualified under the 14th.

FreeAndClear:
Encounters were much higher under Trump than under Obama.
Where are you getting your numbers at?
Form @DougBH. I am kidding. It was a thing in 2019. The numbers for encounters were actually higher. The caravans etc

When? Equating the 2020 riots to a PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES USING THE POWER OF THE OFFICE TO OVERTURN THE ELECTION THAT HE KNEW HE LOST is absolutely insane.
No it isn’t.

If any Democrat did indeed try to overturn the government of Portland or Seattle
They didn’t try, they did it.
Several members of congress and state government aided the insurrectionists.
It’s not a question of “cojones.”
They had the fortitude to send R v W back to the states.

Imagine Joe using the exact same levers of federal power to keep Donald from taking Presidential office from an election he won. Just imagine that.
Would be interesting.

The definition is fairly straight forward,
No, it’s not. It’s non-existent.
I don’t agree with that. The application of clause three is most definitely a punishment.

It’s not a lie. You didn’t know that we were setting decade old records for border encounters under President trump.
Encounters were much higher under Trump than under Obama.
Bad metric.
