What theyāre doing now isnāt working.
What? Since when? Iāve never thought about it before but itās all making sense now.
By what measure?
Fox didnāt cover Trump rally last weekend.
Right now, there is a republican congressional news conference regarding Afghanistan. CNN is on commercial and MSNBC is covering the swearing in of the N.Y. governor. The blackout of news with these networks continues. So when does a major congressional presser not qualify as news? Covering national politics is literally their only job. Say what you will about FOX, but they donāt blackout the news conferences of democrats. Especially during a time of national crises.
This is why your news sources suck. They censor most news the DNC disapproves of. And their ratings reflect their suckiness.
If only there was some type of fairness doctrine.

Fox didnāt cover Trump rally last weekend.
Do you think that might be because heās a private citizen not setting policy?
Do they always show Democratic congressional news conferences?
Do they always show Democratic congressional news conferences?
Yesā¦
fallenturtle:Do they always show Democratic congressional news conferences?
Yesā¦
Okay. Iām surprised you watch that much CNN.
Did I mention that this was a congressional news conference?
So what? It was 30 minutes of Biden bashing by multiple Congressmen.
Supreme_War_Pig:So when I Google āRepublican News Conferenceā I get two hits: MSNBC (listening as I type this), and C-Span.
Ergo, OAN, Fox, et al are also in on this alleged black out of yours.
MSNBC was covering the swearing in of the N.Y. governor. I saw it with my own beady little eyes.
But believe as you wish.
As I said, I Googled it. I guess that was maybe their online feed?
But this doesnāt obscure your implied criticism of MSM āblacking outā coverage of this press conference, when in fact news sources you probably deem more acceptable also arenāt showing it.
Maybe could it be that Republican whining just isnāt considered newsworthy*. At least not for a live feed?
*unless the whiner is Trump

Maybe they could establish some sort of āfederal commissionā that would regulate radio/television/tele communications

All 3 branches of government?
Scratch:Choosing to run stories other than what your interested inā¦is a black out?
No. Choosing only DNC approved news is. Did I mention that this was a congressional news conference? Did I mention their ratings suck because DNC news is also boring news?
are news network required to cover Congressional news conferences?
Okay. Iām surprised you watch that much CNN.
Iām full of surprises. Your assumptions about me are nearly always wrong. How much CNN do I watch? How much is āthat much?ā
fallenturtle:Okay. Iām surprised you watch that much CNN.

Enough to know CNN only covers Democratic press conferences, assuming thats true.
Mainstream media outlets are biased. There, I said it.

Please. Explain how Iām wrong.
Their only job is to broadcast content that makes them money.
Their job is partly to broadcast content that makes them advertising money, not lobbyist money. And their advertising revenue is falling, falling, falling. They are doing a lousy job if your standard is accurate.
